An important message from our PPC President

Re:  The vote on the new pickleball courts

I have just been informed that the vote on the new courts is going to Council on Tuesday, July 2nd (meeting starts at 1 pm) at Penticton City Council Chambers.

We have done a lot of work to get to this point.

1]   I will be sending  a letter of support to the council.

2]   At the meeting, if allowed, I will give a short comment to thank the council and then ask the PPC members present to give them a huge round of applause to indicate our appreciation for considering support for the courts.

I would really appreciate your support at this meeting.  It has taken 4 years to get to this vote.  I consider this council meeting to be the one most important events to date in our quest for the 4 new courts.

Having a large number of players present will be much more impressive than only a few.

After the presentation, when I leave, I would like us all to leave at once. If we have a large turnout, that in itself can make a positive impression.

Thanks!
Mark Tamblyn, President
Penticton Pickleball Club
