We’re excited to welcome everyone to a brand‑new summer pickleball season, officially kicking off May 1. Whether you’re returning or new to the club, we’re looking forward to another season full of fun, fair play, and great community spirit.
Members Orientation – April 12 All members—especially those new to the club—are encouraged to attend our Season Orientation: Date: Sunday, April 12 Time: 10:00 AM Location: Seniors Centre Followed by: Outdoor play at the courts (weather permitting) This session is a great opportunity to get up to date on club scheduling, learn how to use Court Reserve, understand DUPR, ask questions, and meet fellow members. Court Reserve: New members are required to set up a Court Reserve account. Instructions can also be found on our website under ‘Members’.
DUPR Information for PPC (Club) Members As many of you know, our club is adopting DUPR this season, and later in the year we’ll begin using DUPR ratings to help organize balanced and competitive events. To support members, the club will be scheduling times to build/work on DUPR ratings. For those with current DUPR ratings, DUPR is offering DUPR Reset, a limited-time opportunity to re-evaluate your rating using only matches played during the Reset window. DUPR Reset is not required by the Club. This is offered by DUPR, and the Club will support members if there is interest.
DUPR Reset Window (https://www.dupr.com/reset) March 16 – May 17, 2026 Because our club season begins May 1, members will have roughly two weeks of club organized DUPR match times available for Reset play. If interest is high, we may add extra court time to help everyone get their matches in. Members are not obligated to participate in DUPR Reset, we are creating the opportunity for those who choose to. How DUPR Reset Works • Participation in DUPR Reset is optional and costs $34.99 USD (one-time per player, paid directly to DUPR). • Register for DUPR Reset through DUPR (https://www.dupr.com/reset).
• Play at least 8 matches with 2 different partners (doubles).
• DUPR calculates a Reset rating using only those matches.
• Your final rating becomes whichever is higher, your current rating or your Reset rating.
• Your rating cannot go down because of participating.
• Members who are interested in DUPR Reset are requested to contact Allison Henry (allison@pentictonpickleball.ca) to help inform the number of scheduled sessions.
• Times to build/work on DUPR ratings will be on the Court Reserve schedule.
• Members record their own match scores.
• Club DUPR representatives will enter all DUPR match results (for both Reset and non Reset players). Helpful Links

No Problem We’ll have regular DUPR rated play all season long, giving every member plenty of opportunities to build or improve their rating as we transition to DUPR based event scheduling.
